Mark Ledlow's career is defined by an uncommon willingness to step into difficult environments and figure things out — a trait forged early, from battling wildfires in Oregon to serving eight years in the United States Marine Corps, where he was honorably discharged in the weeks following 9/11.

A graduate of Southern Oregon University's top criminology program, Mark earned his Bachelor's in Criminology with a minor in Psychology while simultaneously serving in the Marine Reserves, working in youth corrections, and serving as a police reserve officer.

His first assignment in private security was on the largest protective detail in the United States — protecting the chairman of a tribal Indian casino facing extortion threats from a cartel. He went on to specialize in protecting high-profile clients from the Middle East, earning a reputation for cultural nuance and willingness to operate continuously for months at a time.

In 2025, Mark completed the Advanced Threat Assessment Academy through Gavin de Becker & Associates, the gold standard in threat assessment training, further deepening the analytical rigor Ledlow Security brings to every engagement.
